State-Backed Company Incorporation with MBI Modal Terengganu

MBI Modal Sdn. Bhd. and Colla Connecting Edge Sdn. Bhd. signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on 15 February 2026 for the strategic incorporation of a State-Backed Company (SBC) in Terengganu.

The MOU was signed by Abdul Raqeeb Khan bin Abdul Razak, Managing Director of Colla Connecting Edge Sdn. Bhd. and Mohd Farid Bin Awang, CEO of MBI Modal Sdn. Bhd., witnessed by Mohd Nurkhuzaini Ab. Rahman, Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Ekonomi Digital, Pendapatan Baharu, Perdagangan, Perindustrian dan Teknologi Hijau.

This partnership establishes a state-backed framework for digital infrastructure development in Terengganu, creating a sustainable model for smart city deployment and telecommunications infrastructure expansion across the state.
